Agency and individual contractor guests will be granted access to sites within their client\u2019s Workspace but won\u2019t have access to confidential Workspace settings.<\/p>\n<p>This tutorial will cover:<\/p>\n<ol role=\"list\">\n<li>How the Agency or Individual Contractor guest role operates<\/li>\n<li>Guidelines for Agencies and individual contractors<\/li>\n<li>Client instructions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>How the Agency or Individual Contractor guest role operates<\/h2>\n<p>The Agency or Individual Contractor guest role allows clients to invite guests (agencies and\/or individual contractors) into their Workspace. As a Workspace owner, you have the ability to extend invitations to guests!<\/p>\n<p>Clients that might wish to invite a guest into their Workspace include:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>An agency inviting a freelancer<\/li>\n<li>A small business inviting an individual contractor<\/li>\n<li>A large business inviting an agency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once a guest becomes part of a Workspace, they will have access to both new and existing sites within the Workspace. Guests can also create, duplicate, and clone sites, accept site transfers, and purchase templates.<\/p>\n<p>The Agency or Individual Contractor guest role <strong>is able to<\/strong> access:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Workspace sites they have permission to access<\/li>\n<li>2 Workspace settings: Integrations and Templates<\/li>\n<li>The Editor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Agency or Individual Contractor guest role <strong>cannot<\/strong> access:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>All other Workspace settings (Workspaces, Members, Plans, Billing, and Partner Settings)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Guest roles and authorizations<\/h3>\n<p>Clients with a Growth, Agency, or Enterprise Workspace can further customize or allocate their guest\u2019s rights based on other site-specific roles and permissions. When inviting the guest, they can assign their guest to one of the following site roles:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Site administrator<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Can design and publish<\/strong> \u2014 Default guest role on Growth Workspaces<\/li>\n<li><strong>Can design<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Can design (restricted)<\/strong> \u2014 Exclusive role for Enterprise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They can also modify the guest\u2019s publishing rights. Explore more about site-specific roles and permissions.<\/p>\n<h2>Guidelines for Agencies and Individual Contractors<\/h2>\n<h3>Eligibility for the Agency or Individual Contractor Guest Role<\/h3>\n<p>To become a guest in a client\u2019s Workspace, you must be:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>An owner\/admin\/member of a Freelancer Workspace plan, or<\/li>\n<li>An owner\/admin\/member of an Agency Workspace plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you receive an invitation to someone\u2019s Workspace as a guest but do not have an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace yet, you can either <em>add<\/em> an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan to one of your existing Workspaces or <em>establish<\/em> a new Workspace with an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan. <a href=\"https:\/\/webflow.com\/pricing#workspaces\">Learn more about adding an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan<\/a>.<\/h6>\n<h3>Steps to being invited to a client\u2019s Workspace<\/h3>\n<p>To be a guest in another person\u2019s Workspace, you must first ensure you possess the correct Workspace plan (i.e., an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan). If you do not have an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan, you will need to add one to an existing Workspace or create a new Workspace with an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan. Subsequently, provide the Client guidelines to your client so they can send you an invitation to their Workspace.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive a guest invitation via email. You will not have access to other Workspace settings. While operating in a client\u2019s Workspace, you will notice a purple \u201cGuest\u201d indicator on your Dashboard page.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"w-richtext-align-fullwidth w-richtext-figure-type-image\">\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/webflow.tenten.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/64b948f5da9203c598308204_6376516ecc72537458446258_-yi8nbqg7-ebu17vpsg622mzcckyv1rzt6a9wtjld76ssh9jnwirau5v9kuz6jnfl01cmkuk5ac_txnoy7vdjnqiq5wen-hwg3pgsmako7wd6d1vsuewpaqelzmonnzp3dwozc02gbxakic94v1mod.png\" alt=\"The \u201cGuest\u201d flag is highlighted next to the Workspace\u2019s name.\" title=\"64b948f5da9203c598308204_6376516ecc72537458446258_-yi8nbqg7-ebu17vpsg622mzcckyv1rzt6a9wtjld76ssh9jnwirau5v9kuz6jnfl01cmkuk5ac_txnoy7vdjnqiq5wen-hwg3pgsmako7wd6d1vsuewpaqelzmonnzp3dwozc02gbxakic94v1mod\"><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h3>Management of your Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan<\/h3>\n<p>There are several considerations you should bear in mind when serving as a guest in someone\u2019s Workspace:<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>If you <strong>remove a member<\/strong> of your Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace, they will also be removed as a guest from any other Workspaces to which they were invited, unless they possess an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan <\/li>\n<li>If you <strong>terminate or downgrade<\/strong> your Workspace plan, you or other members of your Workspace who are guests in other Workspaces may be removed from those Workspaces if you or they lack an Agency or Individual Contractor Workspace plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to withdraw from a client\u2019s Workspace<\/h3>\n<p>You can choose to exit a client\u2019s Workspace:<\/p>\n<ol role=\"list\">\n<li>Go to your <strong>Dashboard<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Hover over the <strong>Workspace dropdown menu<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Manage Workspaces<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click the \u201c<strong>three disclosure dots<\/strong>\u201d next to the Workspace you wish to leave<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Leave Workspace<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Client Instructions<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"w-richtext-align-fullwidth w-richtext-figure-type-video\">\n<div><iframe allowfullscreen frameborder scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zi2TlM4ZF0s\" title><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>If you possess a Workspace plan (which includes Starter plans and Agency or Individual Contractor plans), you can invite guests to your Workspace at no extra charge. The number of guests invited will not impact your Workspace seat count. You can have a maximum of 2 guests per Workspace on Starter, Core, Growth, Freelancer, or Agency plans. On Enterprise Workspace plans (or if you are an Enterprise Partner), you can accommodate up to 10 guests. Regardless of your Workspace plan, you can be a member of up to 100 Workspaces.<\/p>\n<h3>How to invite a guest to your Workspace<\/h3>\n<p>Workspace owners, administrators, and members are capable of inviting guests to the Workspace, as well as removing guests from the Workspace.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Note:<\/strong> Guests cannot extend invitations to other guests for a Workspace.<\/h6>\n<p>To invite a guest to your Workspace:<\/p>\n<ol role=\"list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>Account<\/strong><strong>dropdown menu<\/strong> in your Dashboard<\/li>\n<li>Click<strong>Work Areas<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Opt for the <strong>Workspace<\/strong> where you wish to include your visitor<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the <strong>Members<\/strong> section &gt; <strong>Agency or Freelancer Guests<\/strong>\u200d<\/li>\n<li>Hit <strong>Ask guest to join<\/strong>\u200d<\/li>\n<li>Enter the guest&#8217;s <strong>email<\/strong> into the specified field<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>Ask<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Subsequently, your guest can acknowledge the invitation to access your Workspace. They will require an Agency or Freelancer Workspace subscription to accept the invitation.<\/p>\n<h4>For reissuing the invitation<\/h4>\n<p>If the invitation is still pending, you can resend it. In case the invitation is no longer pending, you can eliminate the guest from your Workspace.<\/p>\n<p>To withdraw a pending guest invitation:<\/p>\n<ol role=\"list\">\n<li>Locate the <strong>Account<\/strong><strong>dropdown<\/strong> on your Dashboard<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>Work Areas<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Workspace<\/strong> where the guest was invited<\/li>\n<li>Proceed to the <strong>Members<\/strong> section &gt;
