You can produce an item, enter information in the relevant fields, then opt to create the product, instantly publish it, or save it as a draft. Moreover, you can establish product variations by defining option sets. Users need to establish and verify their accounts before purchasing a membership product. Membership products can only be bought once.<\/li>\n<li id=\"\"><strong id=\"\">Advanced \u2014<\/strong> provides full customization options<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"\">Based on the product type allocation, shipping and download fields will either display or be hidden.<\/p>\n<p id=\"\">The shipping fields include:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"\">\n<li id=\"\">Shipping required<strong>*<\/strong><\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Width<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Weight<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Height<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Length<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"\"><strong>*<\/strong>The collection of shipping information will depend on the value of the <strong id=\"\">Shipping required <\/strong>field. You have the flexibility to configure the billing method settings on each product page. You can modify the <strong id=\"\">price<\/strong>, <strong id=\"\">compare-at price<\/strong>, and <strong id=\"\">product tax class<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"\">One-time payment<\/h4>\n<p id=\"\">With <strong id=\"\">one-time payment<\/strong>, customers make a single payment to purchase the item.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"\">Subscription<\/h4>\n<h6 id=\"\"><strong id=\"\">Note: <\/strong>The subscription billing method is accessible once User Accounts are activated on your site.<\/h6>\n<p id=\"\">This billing option enables customers to pay regularly for a product. Typically employed when the product is delivered on a recurring basis, or customers have extended access to a product (e.g. access to articles on a news site, viewing video content on a streaming service, subscription boxes sent to the customer, etc.)<\/p>\n<p id=\"\">For the <strong id=\"\">subscription<\/strong> billing method, you can choose the <strong id=\"\">billing period<\/strong> on the product page, providing 4 options: day, week, month, and year.<\/p>\n<h6 id=\"\"><strong id=\"\">Note: <\/strong>Subscriptions necessitate Stripe. It is essential to activate and connect a Stripe account before utilizing subscriptions and making your site live. Learn the process for connecting a Stripe account.<\/h6>\n<h3 id=\"\">Product settings<\/h3>\n<p id=\"\">To access Product settings, navigate to the <strong id=\"\">Ecommerce dashboard<\/strong>, hover over the <strong id=\"\">Products<\/strong> tab, and click on the settings icon \u201c<strong id=\"\">cog<\/strong>.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"\">The default <strong id=\"\">Product fields<\/strong> visible in <strong id=\"\">Product settings<\/strong> relate to the <strong id=\"\">Physical<\/strong> product type. When changing the <strong id=\"\">Product type<\/strong>, the listed fields and Editor preview will adapt according to the selected product type.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"\">Import\/export via CSV<\/h3>\n<p id=\"\">For importing or exporting items (e.g. products, categories, discounts) using a CSV file:<\/p>\n<ol id=\"\">\n<li id=\"\">Access the <strong id=\"\">Ecommerce<\/strong><strong id=\"\">dashboard<\/strong><\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Click on the <strong id=\"\">Collection<\/strong> intended for importing or exporting<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">Select either <strong id=\"\">Import<\/strong> or <strong id=\"\">Export<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p id=\"\">Some important points to consider when importing products via a CSV (comma-separated value) file:<\/p>\n<ul id=\"\">\n<li id=\"\">Your <strong id=\"\">Product type <\/strong>column must have a valid value (Advanced, Digital, Service, Physical, or Membership)<\/li>\n<li id=\"\">If the <strong id=\"\">Product type <\/strong>column is empty, it will default to <strong id=\"\">Advanced<\/strong><\/li>\n<li id=\"\">A product with variants will utilize the first listed product type<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"\">You will receive an import<\/p>\n<p>If an incorrect product type is chosen or there are conflicts with the expected fields, an error may occur, such as:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Selecting a type other than the valid options (like Advanced, Digital, Service, Membership, or Physical),<br \/>\n&#8211; Choosing a product type as Digital and containing information for shipping fields,<br \/>\n&#8211; Opting for the product type as Service and including details for download and\/or shipping fields,<br \/>\n&#8211; Setting the product type as Physical but having information for download fields.<\/p>\n<p>**Conditional visibility**<\/p>\n<p>Conditional visibility can be configured based on the chosen Product type in the dropdown within the Element settings panel. For instance, you can utilize conditional visibility to ensure that instructions related to downloads are only visible on digital product pages.<\/p>\n<p>**Filtering**<\/p>\n<p>A product Collection list can be filtered based on the selected product type from the dropdown within the Element settings panel.<\/p>\n<p>**Field token and SEO**<\/p>\n<p>In SEO settings and custom code, you can employ the dynamic Product type field.<\/p>\n<p>**Dynamic values**<\/p>\n<p>The Product type field can be dynamically linked (e.g., to include a badge stating whether a product is a &#8220;Physical product&#8221; or &#8220;Digital product&#8221;) in various locations:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; On a product page<br \/>\n&#8211; In the cart<br \/>\n&#8211; On a checkout page<br \/>\n&#8211; On the order confirmation page<br \/>\n&#8211; As the alt text of an image<\/p>\n<p>**Organizing products in categories**<\/p>\n<p>Products can be organized by assigning them to categories, which can be created in two ways:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Within the Categories Collection<br \/>\n&#8211; In the Categories field within a Product Collection item.<\/p>\n<p>Explore more about the relationship between products and categories.<\/p>\n<p>**Managing products and categories**<\/p>\n<p>You have the option to delete or archive a product or category from the Collection item\u2019s settings page. Additionally, you can duplicate a product to quickly create a similar one.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, especially when starting with an Ecommerce template, you may want to replace a large number of products with your own. In such cases, you can utilize bulk actions \u2014 similar to CMS Collections \u2014 to choose multiple products. This can also be done with Categories Collection items. Bulk actions allow setting Collection items to draft, archiving them, or staging for publication.<\/p>\n<p>You can also export your products and save them as a backup in CSV format. Learn more about managing Collection items in bulk.<\/p>\n<p>**Updating products and categories**<\/p>\n<p>Any Product or Category Collection item can be updated at any time. You can then choose to stage it for publishing, publish immediately, or save as a draft to unpublish during the next site-wide publish.<\/p>\n<p>**Additional ways to add and update products and categories**<\/p>\n<p>Products can also be imported using a CSV file or integrated with external sources via services like Zapier or the Webflow API.<\/p>\n<p>**Counting of products, categories, and variants**<\/p>\n<p>The count of items under your Ecommerce site plan includes:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Products<br \/>\n&#8211; Product variants<br \/>\n&#8211; Categories<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s how each of the above contributes to your item limit:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; 1 product without variants = 2 items (product + SKU)<br \/>\n&#8211; 1 product with 1 variant = 3 items (product + SKU + variant)<br \/>\n&#8211; 1 category = 1 item<\/p>\n<p>Ecommerce item limits are distinct from CMS Collection item limits. The two Collections on all Ecommerce sites (Products and Categories) count toward the overall Collection limit.
