Learn how to manage billing and invoices for your Workspace plan.
Useful information: Financial information can only be accessed by the Workspace proprietor and Workspace managers. Discover more on Workspace roles and authorizations.

During this instructional session, you will be educated on how to:

  1. Inspect your Workspace scheme financial details
  2. Review your Website scheme subscription overview
  3. Examine your bill configurations
  4. Access supplementary financial facts
  5. Check your account balances
  6. Peruse invoices for all Workspace and Website plans
  7. Glimpse at your succeeding bill overview
  8. Review your payment card information
  9. Alter your Workspace scheme’s billing frequency
  10. Comprehend proration and reimbursements

Inspect your Workspace scheme financial details

To view your Workspace scheme financial details, simply click on Bills in the left menu. At the very beginning of your Workplace Bill configurations, you will find the expense and frequency of the paid Workspace scheme you are currently utilizing, along with the number of seats in your Workspace.

If you wish to upgrade, downgrade, or modify the billing frequency of your Workspace scheme, click on Update your Workspace.

Review your Website scheme subscription overview

Note: Website scheme subscriptions are billed independently from your Workspace scheme subscription. The Website scheme subscription summary section will only appear if you have active, paid Website schemes on your websites.

Navigate to Billing > Website scheme subscription summary to acquire a summary of each Website scheme within the current Workspace. The details for each Website scheme subscription comprises of:

  • Website title — select to access that particular website’s billing settings
  • Scheme title — name of the active Website scheme
  • Expenditure/frequency — the amount you pay and when (monthly or yearly)
  • Billing start and conclusion dates — the renewal date of the scheme and the date of expiration
  • Last invoice — select Download to retrieve the most recent invoice for the Website scheme

Examine your bill configurations

Note: Bill configurations are only visible if you possess a payment card on record.

Visit Billing > Bill configurations to scrutinize and modify your bill settings for all your Workspace purchases, including Website schemes. Bill settings consist of:

  • Bill email — the email address where invoices and receipts are dispatched. Receipts contain a link to download corresponding invoices. In the absence of a bill email here, receipts are dispatched to the Workspace owner’s email on file
  • Corporate bill profile — corporate details displayed on invoices (e.g., address, PO number, etc.)
  • SMS alerts for payment failures — with this enabled, you will receive text alerts at your designated phone number regarding any payment issues

Access supplementary financial facts

Head to Billing > Supplementary financial facts to revise your Tax ID number and verify your Sales tax exemption status. Further information on Tax ID numbers and sales tax exemption status is available.

Useful information: The Tax ID number field is visible only if your billing location is situated in a VAT ID or GST ID supported region.

Inspect your account balances

Proceed to Billing > Balances to explore the available balances for your account and bulk hosting.

For instance, if you procured a yearly scheme and downgraded to a monthly scheme prior to the completion of the yearly billing cycle, the unused time on the yearly scheme would be credited to your account as a balance, or a surplus.

While making a payment for a scheme, Webflow utilizes any existing positive balance before utilizing your active card on record.

Note: Account balance is not utilized for template transactions.

View all invoices for Workspace and Website schemes

Visit Billing > All invoices to witness a compilation of all your Workspace and Website scheme invoices. The ten most recent invoices are immediately visible, and you can tap on Show more to unveil additional, prior invoices. The details for each invoice encompass:

  • Invoice date — the issuance date of your invoice
  • Bill specifics — the subject of the invoiced item
  • Total payment — the amount paid (or credited)
  • Invoice — select Download PDF to retrieve the invoice
Note: Template invoices are excluded from the All invoices section. Your template acquisitions and invoices can be located in Workspace configurations > Templates.

Review a summary of your forthcoming bill

Visit Billing > Next bill summary to inspect the details regarding your forthcoming Website or Workspace scheme payment. You will find information regarding the date and invoice number, the invoiced items, any applicable credit to be deducted from your total, and the overall invoice amount. The invoice billing date also reveals the number of days until the next payment trial.

Review your payment card details

Proceed to Billing > Payment card segment to manage your existing card. You can examine the current card details, as well as update or delete it. Read more about the acceptable card types and the process to update your card on file.

Note: Your registered payment card is used for settling all subscriptions linked to your Workspace — this includes Workspace schemes and Website schemes.

Modify your Workspace scheme’s billing cadence

You have the option to change the billing cadence of your Workspace scheme from yearly to monthly (and vice versa) without necessitating the cancellation of your ongoing plan. Find out more about adjusting your Workspace scheme’s billing cadence.

Grasp the concept of proration and reimbursements

Webflow implements proration for alterations to schemes (e.g., upgrades, downgrades, or modifications in billing frequency) based on your existing balance, credits, and the remaining days in your billing cycle. Your prorated expenses and credits will be displayed during checkout. Explore further on proration and reimbursements.

Note: Refunds are generally not issued (refer to section 8 of our Terms of Service), and account credit for unused time on a canceled Workspace plan is not automatically provided.
