Explore using arrow keys

Navigate between child and parent elements using the arrow keys.
When it comes to website design, certain components consist of offspring components with their own offspring components. For instance, a Segment could embrace a Container block that might contain a Title, Text, and Key. You can inspect this component hierarchy in the Navigator

In the Webflow Creator, you can visually choose components on the Canvas and customize them to your liking in the Style panel. Also, you can customize various components on a page without moving your cursor away from the Style panel.

Utilize keyboard arrows to move between components and their offspring components on the Canvas:

  • The upward arrow picks the predecessor component
  • The downward arrow picks the offspring component
  • The left and right arrows choose between sibling components on the same level
