Update or move your email address from one Webflow account to another.

You have the option to modify the email linked to your Webflow account within your profile preferences. Any email notifications will now be directed to this new email address.

Guidelines for updating your email address (if Google SSO is not utilized)

Firstly, ensure that you are logged in to your account. To revise the email address associated with your Webflow account:

  1. Press on the Account tab located in the navigation bar
  2. Access Profile settings > Email settings tab > choose Update email address
  3. Enter your updated email address
  4. Provide your existing password
  5. Input your two-step verification code (if activated)
  6. Tap on Save changes 

Subsequent to saving the alterations, you will be sent a confirmation email to verify the update and your email address.

Instructions for updating your email address (if Google SSO is utilized)

Primarily, ensure you are logged in to Google using the identical email address as your Webflow account. Subsequently:

  1. Click on the Account dropdown list in the navigation bar
  2. Proceed to Profile settings > Email settings tab > select Update email address
  3. Choose the email account linked to your existing Webflow account under the Authenticate with Google section (in place of the email you are revising to)
  4. Log in using your Google credentials
  5. Click on Save changes

Crucial: Your existing Webflow account email must be authenticated for the email update to take effect.

If you wish to transfer one of your email addresses (e.g., [email protected]) from Account A to Account B:

  1. Modify and substitute the email address for Account A (e.g., [email protected] changes to [email protected])
  2. Authenticate the email alteration through the verification email issued upon requesting the update
  3. Update the email address for Account B with the original email address from Account A (e.g., [email protected])
