This grants you extra oversight on site entry, especially for independent workers, service providers, collaborators with commenting privileges, or guests in the Workspace. Furthermore, proprietors of agencies can utilize site-tailored entry to restrict the sites visible in a colleague’s Workspace — thereby diminishing distractions or safeguarding confidential sites.
Important: Exclusive access to specific sites is solely offered in Enterprise, Agency, or Freelancer Workspace plans.

How to designate site entry for newly-invited team members
Upon inviting a team member to your Workspace, you can authorize them to access specific sites.
- Conclude steps 1-4 as outlined in the invitation guidelines
- Tap on Add to sites
- Select the sites to include them in from the Add to sites dropdown
- Press Review
- Click Invite
The selected team member will be able to access the sites you designate, as well as all sites accessible to everyone in the Workspace.
How to designate site entry for newly-created sites
You have the option to determine site entry for sites during the initial creation process:
- Access your Dashboard
- Click on New site
- Opt for a blank site or a template
- Specify a title for your site
- Establish site entry (e.g., “Restricted to Workspace admins and specifically designated persons” or “Open to all in the Workspace”)
- Click on Create site
Important: If you set site entry to “Restricted to Workspace admins and specifically designated persons,” you have the capability to add team members to the site by following these directions.
How to modify site entry for an individual site
To adjust site entry for a site within your Workspace:
- Navigate to Site settings > Site access > Access settings of the respective site
- Select the site entry from the dropdown (e.g., “Restricted to Workspace admins and specifically designated persons” or “Open to all in the Workspace”)
Important: If you set site entry to “Restricted to Workspace admins and specifically designated persons,” you can add team members to the site by following these instructions.
How to incorporate a team member in a site and configure their site entry permissions
If you wish to grant a team member access to a site with restricted entry:
- Visit Site settings > Site access > Access settings of the desired site
- Click on Add people
- Select a team member from the Team dropdown list
- Assign a Role for the site and specify Publishing permissions as required
- Hit Save
How to collectively adjust site entry for multiple sites
You have the capability to simultaneously set site entry for all the sites in your workspace:
- Access Workspace settings > General > Site access summary
- Tap on Update all sites
- Determine site entry for each site in your Workspace (e.g., “Restricted to Workspace admins and specifically designated persons” or “Open to all in the Workspace”)
- Click on Save
Important: The simultaneous site entry update applies exclusively to existing sites in your Workspace.
Remarks concerning site-tailored access
If a team member lacks access to a site, they will be unable to:
- Be tagged in a comment
- Be acknowledged in the site’s Creator Credits
- View a directory if access is unavailable for any sites within it
- Install Applications on sites they have restricted access to
- Transfer site plans between sites where access is restricted
